It\u2019s all well and good to just see the live location of your field employees but what\u2019s the sense to it when you can\u2019t easily see where they\u2019re going, or when they\u2019re actually in a meeting, or what expenses they incurred, or even the amount of kilometers they\u2019ve travelled. Especially when there are a million other apps out there that are created for exactly this purpose, like <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fieldsense.in\/\">FieldSense<\/a> :p) ABC decided to try using two different apps to help reduce the stress and strain of manually keeping track of their sales activities: FieldTrackingX and FieldSense.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h5 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>FieldTrackingX<\/strong><\/h5>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>FieldTrackingX is your run-of-the-mill field force tracking software. It only allows you to track the distance you\u2019re travelled. After the implementation of FieldTrackingX, Rakesh was able to see a layout of all his visits for the day but still had to manually complete many other tasks like updating his manager after each visit, noting down the post-meeting follow-up activities, etc. As for Rakesh\u2019s manager, while he can see the distance travelled by Rakesh in a day, he doesn\u2019t have a clue about the expenses claimed by Rakesh, or anything about how Rakesh spent his time in the day going about the visits. All he had to do was provide a few cost details and attach a photograph and there! His expenses were all submitted. Life was a breeze for Rakesh\u2019s manager as he not only knew where Rakesh was at any given point, or whether or not he was in a meeting, but was also able to see the expenses Rakesh claimed for each visit, Rakesh\u2019s monthly attendance and he even had access to actionable data summaries that provided insights into not only Rakesh\u2019s productivity, but the entire team\u2019s productivity.\u00a0<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The real beauty of it: paperless workflows<\/strong><\/h4>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Now that you know the benefits that a field force automation app offers, you should also know the main advantage of using it: transparent, quick AND paperless workflows. Assuming that\u00a0 ABC Pvt. Ltd. followed the quick start process to the T and added their Human Resources (HR) and Accounts teams to the app as users, they will now be able to vastly streamline their expense approving and salary calculating processes. On submitting an expense claim, the manager will be able to view and approve\/reject it instantly, following which, the accounts team will take the requisite action. In terms of the HR team, they will be able to access the attendance records for the entire workforce on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.fieldsense.in\/\">FieldSense<\/a> and either download or even directly link it to their payroll software for their monthly salary calculation exercises.
